💘  Love 💘

You shouldn’t think that finding the one is a critical part of life before 20!! Watching older people in happy, loving relationships can tempt a young heart to seek for true love too soon. Meeting new people and having different types of relationships as an individual gives knowledge of how broad a spectrum people’s personalities can range. Be very picky when choosing a spouse. There is no rush to grow up and be an adult. Your a kid once and an adult the rest of the time. Don’t ever wish that shit away!

Other people having too much of an influence on your life can stray you from your path. Keep sight of your goals. There is nothing wrong with taking the scenic route but if your not careful, you’ll get lost. You cant come back from every bad decision you make so be mindful about your choices.

It’s a long life and you can’t know who will fit perfectly into it until you know what you actually want for yourself.  Don’t settle for less. The person who deserves the most of your love right now is yourself.

👶 Starting a Family 👶

  True independence isn’t achieved until your graduated, mobile and working to support yourself. Having a baby may seem like so much fun, (and it is at times-when your ready for it!!) but there is so much more to it than anybody in the world tells you. Taking on a literal new human to care for 24/7, 365 days a year for a minimum of 20 years is a huge commitment. That adorable little nugget will always have to come before you. And as heartfelt as it all seems, it could feed feelings of failure because the rest of your goals will still feel necessary yet much more difficult to achieve. You’ll be forced to grow up too fast!

There is no time like young free time to really focus on yourself. Its a time to find out what you really love & what you really hate. Date a few personalities before you commit to the first head that pops up. Life is so much bigger for you RIGHT NOW than you realize. Choose to live for yourself for a while.

👩‍🎓School👨‍🎓

Going to school seems like such a chore when your young! But I have to say that learning new things is pretty freaking cool. I mean think about it, there is an infinite amount of information out there. In school you can choose to learn mostly anything about anything. One of my biggest regrets is actually not utilizing school more. I was so worried about friends, boys and hangin’ out.. Its much more temporary than it feels like at the time. Its a lesson that teens can’t even grasp until they get through it. All in all, my advice is to be a bookworm. Stay after school, do clubs, play ALL THE SPORTS and learn as much as you can while you can. Education is a serious expense after your grown so Soak that shit up!

🌎 Future 🌍

Some of my thoughts on adulting and handling the future are as follows:

Life is much longer than you can comprehend right now so make decisions based on the effect it will have on you in 5 years.

Let Karma work for you. If you pay it forward – good things will come to you!

Stick to your boundaries in every life situation. People will treat you the way you allow them to. Sometimes other people might be having a bad day and project that on to you. Misery loves company! Always remember, they don’t need a reaction & you don’t need that negativity. Pick the battles you choose to fight because they aren’t always worth the effort. Get used to leaving behind toxic situations and people that will poison your future.

Take risks but be smart about it. If your going to do something, do it with grace and confidence. Practice makes perfect so don’t fear failure, because accepting failure as a part of growth is the only way to find success. Odds are that you are the best one in the room at something.

Sing while you work and stay off your phone! Lend a helping hand when needed because feeling appreciated feeds the soul.

Keep your hands busy with a hobby.

Love yourself! If you find that it’s difficult, your probably being to hard on yourself. Nobody’s opinion of you means more than your own. Be proud of your good qualities keep working on the rest. Live within the idea that you will forever be a work in progress! Stand by your morals and values and live ethically.
